Bei meinem VW Touareg war der Turbolader hinüber. Was mich überzeugt hat: Es wurde erst geprüft, ob tatsächlich der Lader das Problem ist — bei diesem Fehlerbild ist es nicht immer der teure Teil, und genau da trennt sich die Spreu vom Weizen. Danach klare Ansage, was es kostet und wie lange es dauert. Beides hat gestimmt. Der Wagen war nach einem Tag fertig, die Rechnung lag im besprochenen Rahmen, kein nachträgliches Aufschlagen. Für eine Reparatur in dieser Größenordnung genau das, was man sich wünscht.

Ich war auf Empfehlung eines Kollegen in dieser Werkstatt. Der Inhaber ist sehr kompetent, freundlich und die Mechaniker auch, sie vermitteln das Gefühl, dass sie wissen, was sie tun und man kann ihnen vertrauen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist auch sehr gut im Vergleich zu anderen Werkstätten in der Umgebung von Kiel. Habe hier meinen Katalysator und die Fenster-/Türverriegelung wechseln lassen + einige Untersuchungen. Die ersten 200 km mit neuem Katalysator, super! 5 Sterne

No. Clearing removes the message, not the cause — the entry returns as soon as the control unit detects the fault again. Clearing alone just postpones the problem.
Because the code describes which measured value is out of range, not why. A reported lambda sensor fault can equally come from a leak in the exhaust or a broken wire. That is why we measure.
