Gearbox and clutch work is a matter of trust, because you cannot see the result. We overhaul manual gearboxes — from a bearing failure to a complete rebuild — and after the diagnosis we tell you whether a repair is worth it or an exchange unit is the more sensible option.

So you know what you are getting into – before you book.
Test drive, visual inspection and reading the control units. We only talk about a repair once it is clear which component is causing the fault.
We set out openly what is faulty and which routes exist — overhaul, partial replacement or an exchange unit, each with its pros and cons.
Remove the gearbox, renew the affected parts, with gaskets and oil seals as a matter of course. With a clutch, the release bearing is done at the same time.
After fitting, the system is adapted and test driven. A new clutch needs the first few kilometres to settle.

Schnellster und bester KFZ Service den ich je hatte. Hat mich zum Wechsel meiner Kfz-Werkstatt bewegt. Austausch der Wasserpumpe war überall in Kiel und auch bei meinem Stamm-Schrauber auf unbestimmte Zeit nicht machbar. Hier hat es innerhalb von zwei Tagen geklappt Termin plus Reparatur zu vereinbaren. Besser geht nicht… Es gibt leider keinen sechsten Stern bei Google ⭐️

Sowohl Chef als auch Meister extrem professionell, hilfsbereit und kompetent – und das alles zu einem fairen Preis. 100 Sterne wären noch zu wenig, selten so eine tolle Werkstatt gefunden! Normalerweise schreibe ich keine Rezension . Morgens angerufen und Nachmittags gleich ein Termin erhalten. Anderes Werkstätten hatten erst in 2- 3 Wochen Zeit. Alles ging schnell und unkompliziert. Fehler gleich behoben und preislich wirklich top. Alle sehr freundlich und kompetent. Das wird nun meine Stammwerkstatt. Weiter so!

No. We work on manual gearboxes — from a bearing failure to a complete rebuild. We do not overhaul automatic gearboxes; let us know which gearbox you have and we will settle that on the phone rather than on the lift.
That depends on the damage and the value of the vehicle. With a single failed bearing or oil seal, usually yes; with widespread wear an exchange gearbox may make more sense. We will tell you honestly what we consider sensible.
The release bearing is always done, because fitting it later would mean the same work all over again. If the dual-mass flywheel is worn it should go too — otherwise the new clutch will soon be finished as well.
Many manufacturers describe the fill as lifetime, but in practice a change extends service life considerably — especially at high mileage or with towing. We check what is specified and sensible for your gearbox.
